iMap understands the challenges that can arise from taking someone with autism out of their home environment, with this in mind we can build a team to support individuals in their own home while family have a break.

What does support from the community options service look like?
It can be anything from a 4hr after school session with a child, enabling Mum and Dad to spend time with siblings, to daily support for a young person to engage in College/volunteering. Support can be offered to work toward a specific goal such as gaining confidence in using public transport, or can provide complete 24hr support for all aspects of every day life.
How is this support funded?
Funding can be sourced through Local Authorities, Direct Payments, or a mixture of both.
What training do staff at iMap get?
